Already Bruenak has fallen.\n3/5/867 I barely escaped the ambush with my life. We thought we might get rest in the sewers, but I watched all my friends fall one by one to the horrors in that wretched cesspit. Apparently the Drow let all manner of things breed there, capturing a few slaves now and then for thir own use. I wonder if they know what lurks in the secrets here. I have escaped for now, but I have only one charge of invisibility left, and I know the drow will see me either way. I must rest here in the sewers and hope nothing finds me. If something must find me, let it not be the Drow. The screams I have heard coming from thier dungeons make me pray for a quick death at the hands of these infernal goblins. After I am done resting, I will try to sneak back and find my precious ring. I think I may have dropped it near the dragons pool. With that perhaps I might sneak past the Drow...\n3/6/867 I could not find the ring. I can only hope to make a break for the city gates. I tremble with the fear of capture, but if I wish to live, I must try."
