They do not worry of wasted time. Instead they often occupy themselves with long term plots or puzzles that can take years to finish. All dragons have great patience, they seldom hurry or rush for they believe everything worth of doing is worth of doing right. It is believed this racial trait, the mental games the dragons have, lies behind their natural aptitude for magic.\n\nDragons longevity is also probably the major cause of their attitude of superiority over other races, some might call this vanity or arrogance. Dragons many times watch many generations of men to born, live and die, while they themselves just grow stronger.\n\nDragon's nature depends often on its race as well. Metallic dragons (gold, silver, bronze, brass and copper) are known to be peaceful and friendly, while chromatic dragons (red, green, blue, white and black) are often hostile towards men. Dragons do not live in societies, and they are often found alone. They rarely stand other dragons, with metallic and chromatic dragons especially hating each other. There are some records of cross-breeding, but these cases are extremely rare or only rumours. The offspring of such union should in theory have abilities of both of the parents.\n\nDragons also seeks certain sort of living space, depending on colour. However this is not binding, dragons are capable of living almost anywhere despite their colour. This is what I have found out about places where the type is usually encountered:\n\nBlack: Forests, moors.\nBlue: Deserts, warm places.\nBrass: Deserts, warm places.\nBronze: Near water.\nCopper: Mountains, hills.\nGold: No place of preference, seen almost anywhere.\nGreen: Forests, water.\nRed: Mountains, hills, badlands.\nSilver: High mountains, but sightings almost anywhere.\nWhite: Cold and snow, water." } }, "Description": { "type": "cexolocstring", "value": { "0": "" } }, "Identified": { "type": "byte", "value": 1 }, "LocalizedName": { "type": "cexolocstring", "value": { "0": "Nature of the Dragons" } }, "ModelPart1": { "type": "byte", "value": 2 }, "PaletteID": { "type": "byte", "value": 60 }, "Plot": { "type": "byte", "value": 1 }, "PropertiesList": { "type": "list", "value": [] }, "StackSize": { "type": "word", "value": 1 }, "Stolen": { "type": "byte", "value": 1 }, "Tag": { "type": "cexostring", "value": "fr_iwd_book03" }, "TemplateResRef": { "type": "resref", "value": "fr_iwd_book03" } }
